Privacy policy

1. Who we are

soberdriver.am belongs to the Sober Driver service (Yerevan, Armenia). We are responsible for the data you leave on the website and on the phone.

2. What we collect

When you book a driver: your name, phone number, the addresses of the trip and its stops, the car’s number plate (if you gave it), the gearbox and your note to the driver. When you write in the chat on the site: the text of your messages and the page you wrote from. If you allowed notifications about your order: your browser’s service address for notifications.

Like any website, the server logs technical details of each request: the IP address, the time and the page address. We need them to protect the form from abuse and to investigate faults.

3. Why

Only to carry out the order: to pass it to the dispatcher and the driver, to call you, to work out the price and to answer questions or complaints about the trip. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

4. Who we share it with

The driver who does your trip: your name, phone and the addresses. The service’s dispatcher: the whole order. The server the website runs on is rented from a hosting provider in the European Union; the provider maintains the server but does not process order data. No one else, unless the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Order data — as long as needed to account for trips and answer complaints; the server’s technical logs — for a limited time. A lawyer will set the final periods together with the final text of this policy.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser keeps only what the site needs to work: your preferences — the language (the lang cookie) and the theme; a draft of the order form in this tab; your current order (the sd_order cookie, up to three days, removed once the order is finished or cancelled), so it shows at once when you come back; your chat key (the sd_chat cookie), so the administrator’s answers reach you; and the addresses of your past orders, to offer them again. All of it stays on your device; only the order and chat keys are sent to our server when the site asks how they stand.

7. Your rights

You can find out what data we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to info@soberdriver.am or call us — we will answer and do it.
